Kathāvatthu (“Points of Controversy”) as a Primary Source of Early Buddhist Philosophy.Anastasiya V. Lozhkina - 2021 - Russian Journal of Philosophical Sciences 63 (12):81-101.
This article focuses on the under-researched Buddhist textKathāvatthu(“Points of Controversy”) and aims to better determine its place within Indian philosophy. We consider how the text was compiled, its contents, and main characteristics (such as its genre, its classification lists –mātika). To understand some of those characteristics, we suggest viewing them as shared with the whole Pali Canon (a large body of heterogeneous texts, of which theKathāvatthuis part). This article also illustrates the issues of translating religious and philosophical texts from the (...)

The origin of Metazoa: a transition from temporal to spatial cell differentiation.Kirill V. Mikhailov, Anastasiya V. Konstantinova, Mikhail A. Nikitin, Peter V. Troshin, Leonid Yu Rusin, Vassily A. Lyubetsky, Yuri V. Panchin, Alexander P. Mylnikov, Leonid L. Moroz, Sudhir Kumar & Vladimir V. Aleoshin - 2009 - Bioessays 31 (7):758-768.
For over a century, Haeckel's Gastraea theory remained a dominant theory to explain the origin of multicellular animals. According to this theory, the animal ancestor was a blastula‐like colony of uniform cells that gradually evolved cell differentiation. Today, however, genes that typically control metazoan development, cell differentiation, cell‐to‐cell adhesion, and cell‐to‐matrix adhesion are found in various unicellular relatives of the Metazoa, which suggests the origin of the genetic programs of cell differentiation and adhesion in the root of the Opisthokonta. Multicellular (...)

Аналіз постаті благодійника у філософській думці кінця ХVІІІ – початку ХХІ ст.Anastasiya Lyadneva - 2015 - Multiversum. Philosophical Almanac:43-52.

ANASTASIYA MEDOVA PHENOMENOLOGY OF MUSICAL EXPERIENCE Krasnoyarsk, Reshetnev Siberian State University of Science & Technology; Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical University named after V.P.Astafiev, 2021. ISBN 978-5-86433-873-5 ISBN 978-5-00102-500-9. [REVIEW]Andrei Patkul - 2022 - HORIZON. Studies in Phenomenology 11 (2):735-742.
In my review, I analyze the main theses of Anastasiya Medova’s monograph entitled Phenomenology of Musical Experience (2021). The author of the book raises the issue of what it is that we generally hear as music, as well as many directly or indirectly related other issues with regard to both the essence and the ontological status of music. According to her, it is only the phenomenological methodology that can provide an answer to these questions, which deals with the specifics (...)

  9. Non-commutative logic I: the multiplicative fragment.V. Michele Abrusci & Paul Ruet - 1999 - Annals of Pure and Applied Logic 101 (1):29-64.
We introduce proof nets and sequent calculus for the multiplicative fragment of non-commutative logic, which is an extension of both linear logic and cyclic linear logic. The two main technical novelties are a third switching position for the non-commutative disjunction, and the structure of order variety.

A new correctness criterion for cyclic proof nets.V. Michele Abrusci & Elena Maringelli - 1998 - Journal of Logic, Language and Information 7 (4):449-459.
We define proof nets for cyclic multiplicative linear logic as edge bi-coloured graphs. Our characterization is purely graph theoretical and works without further complication for proof nets with cuts, which are usually harder to handle in the non-commutative case. This also provides a new characterization of the proof nets for the Lambek calculus (with the empty sequence) which simply are a restriction on the formulas to be considered (which are asked to be intuitionistic).

This work is devoted to the relations between Lambek’s Syntactic Calculus and noncommutative variants of Girard’s Linear Logic; in particular the paper will consider: the geometrical representation of the laws of LC by means of proof-nets; the discovery - due to such a geometrical representation - of some laws of LC not yet considered; the discussion of possible linguistic uses of these new laws.

Erste Mitteilung and Die logischen Grundlagen der Mathematik (both are published in (Hilbert [1935] 1965) pp. 157-195), contain his first public presentation of an axiom system for propositional logic, or at least for a fragment of propositional logic, which is largely influenced by the study on logical woks of Frege and Russell during the previous years. The year 1922 is at the beginning of Hilbert's foundational program in its definitive form. The attention of scientists is now being drawn to a new branch of knowledge known as the “philosophy of science.” It is true, however, that philosophers of this country are not very happy about this word combination and often identify it with logical, positivism. Indeed, it would seem better to speak not of the philosophy, but of the logic of scientific development. Science has become an object of study, and there has emerged metascience, i.e., a science studying the logic of (...)

    Path planning for mobile robots navigation with obstacle avoidance based on octrees.Rud V. V. & Panaseiko H. N. - 2020 - Artificial Intelligence Scientific Journal 25 (4):25-30.
The article considers the problem of navigating mobile robots and finding the best way to the goal in real-time in a space surrounded by unknown objects. The motor actions of the robot must be defined and adapted to changes in the environment. When using only laser scanners on mobile work, objects above or below the lasers' level will remain obstacles to the robot. Current algorithms and principles of navigation are considered. Extended the existing real-time interference detection system using lasers by (...)

This paper considers the problems of the integration of independent manipulator control systems. Areas of control of the manipulator are: recognition of objects and obstacles, identification of objects to be grasped, determination of reliable positions by the grasping device, planning of movement of the manipulator to certain positions with avoidance of obstacles, and recognition of slipping or determination of reliable grasping. This issue is a current problem primarily in industry, general-purpose robots, and experimental robots. This paper considers current publications that (...)
